Ethan Hawke is everywhere. And not just on Before Sunset posters. Even Papa, the notoriously oblivious-of-all-celebrity NYC walker, has seen him. Just yesterday, with head shaved, coming back from basketball with his pal (the guy who gets shot over his Hawaiian burger in Pulp Fiction). Mama spotted the pal (he lives in our hood); Papa didn't pause, but he saw Hawke (who also lives in our hood, but doesn't often do normal things like buy stamps at the post office).

24 hours later, lucky Milo was taken to the (clean to the point of posh, well-equipped to parental perfection) Madison Square Park by lovely Noel, while Mama worked and Papa packed more boxes. Apparently, our wee son thought he'd entertain a park bench neighbor with his babbling. On and on, while the good-natured companion, who had two children with him, added occasional commentary. Ethan Hawke was the neighbor. His children Maya and Roan gave Milo more to talk about. Ex-wife and taller Uma arrived to play, and Milo babbled at her, too.

Swings, grass, sand, water. And an all-star cast. What more could a 7-month-old want on a muggy afternoon?

Nanny-less and Personal-assistant-less, Milo and Noel came home, still giggling.
