Mama and Milo run around keeping each other company and trying not to miss Papa too much.
Friday night we went out for pizza with Auntie Noel and ended up sharing an enormous bowl of rigatoni bolognese which put Milo to bed half hour earlier than normal (11 pm) so that we could get up early and get outside quick quick quick while the sun was shining.
Two hours playing in the park, mostly with cutie Sylvie who traded orange slices for cream-cheese'd bagels and let Milo kiss her on the lips after she fell. Up the slide, down the slide, on-off-on-off the swings, chasing a flock of pigeons, running after a dachsund named Felix who not only let Milo pet him, but stayed almost still for kisses, and licked Milo's hand right back.
So much park, a few errands bundled up and cozy, and a chicken noodle soup, and tough-guy Milo was ready to curl up with his elephant and go right to sleep.

Today was cozier, with tons of rain, lots of stories, sprinting up and down the hall and an apartment-wide game of peekaboo. We did make it out for bagels where Milo entertained a posse of teenage girls, met three dogs (wuff, wuff, wuff) and managed this time not to pitch Mama's long-awaited coffee.
Of course, in quiet moments, having searched the whole apartment for "Baaabbbooo," Milo freaks out.

I know you'll all be glad when the real photographer gets back... Mama's cell phone isn't quite up to the wiggle-worm task.
But we'll be even more glad. We miss him most!
