Two days, one icecream cone, several dozen waves, one Grand Uncle, one butterscotch dog-wolf named Abby, oodles of grapes, two back hoes, and a Mama and a Papa and not a single wireless connection...
Between the back lawn, the sea-smooth rocks, the river, the ocean, the Farmers Market, the school swings covered with rain, Milo learned a whole new vocabulary just in time for summer.
Yummy! Bucket! Abby! Agua un huh eye (agua from the sky)! Ice cream (said insistently, with pointing)! Castle! Fish! Swings! Tent! Beeeach! Dump truck! BACK HOE!!
Plus all the fruits (uvas, fresas, watermelon, banana, orange, lemon, lime) and the ever-present "glass eeees" (for reading or for sun).
We left in the rain, returned in the sun, the humidity has taken New York, and there are still bathing suits hanging in the bathroom. And sand everywhere.

Taken by Mama's cell phone, which was the best use of it in months...
Stay tuned for much better views of the trip! And, still no postings, but you can always email us.
