Because the federal government's delay and neglect is abhorrent. Because New York is less 500 firefighters who've taken buses to Louisiana to try and give back a little of the support NYC received after 9/11. Because the man down the street with almost no possessions presented those few in a stoop sale for Katrina victims. Because the water isn't going down. Because there are everyday heroes. Because sometimes prayers aren't enough. Because a little music is always a good thing.
