10 days into the New Year, and one "old Mommy" is finally getting a chance to wish everyone well, count new words in the Milo vocabulary along with friends and blessings, and - of course - offer up a few new pictures. And, special treat for patient viewers: movies!

Sing the alphabet; blow out the flames of the fire-breathing dragon; dance in circles and shimmyshimmyshimmy; climb up a big ladder to wash dishes, make coffee and add "just one pinch" of salt to an omelette; point out "conifer, spruce and pine"; chase pigeons and squirrels in the park with Ahmad and Gabriel; and call grandparents on any phone, connected or not, at every chance. And you, too, can usher in the New Year with the irrepressible joy of a two-year-old.
