Mama showed Milo the latest posting, thinking he'd be happy to see himself as Dash, but he wanted to know what the words said. "But Mama, you forgot some things..."
So, forthwith, the things that have been remembered.
"And remember when I went on the big rock with Grandpa to do the sparklers?" "And remember all those lightning bugs?" "And remember the biiiiig lobsters with the rubber bands on their pincer-claws?" "And remember when I was swimming with Grandma, and I put my head all the way under the water?" "And remember those rockets?" "And remember when I was playing the piano at Grandma and Grandpa's house?" "And remember how I wanted to eat a jellyfish sandwich?" "And remember that cat on the wall?" "And remember that big rain storm and all the thunder?" "And the lightnining, it goes craaaccck, like that!" "And remember all those raccoons?" Note - we never saw a raccoon. "And remember how I got that big crab?" True. Mostly. Mama caught the crab, but it lived in Milo's bucket under the tent for awhile. "And remember Auntie Sarah was there? And Uncle John?"
There are a few things that stump him, when he gets his game face, and says, "I can't remember," but almost everything is better when Milo remembers and re-tells.
