Five months. Dozens of days. Hundreds of hours. Millions of moments just spent wondering what the little man might do next, want more of, push up, fall over, take down his jungle gym. On his five-month-birthday, Milo has taught his mama and papa many things, including:
- Swings are not meant for leaving;
- Baths are not meant for cleaning;
- Feet are meant for kicking;
- People are interactive toys;
- Parenthood is not for the faint of heart; and
- Babies are smarter than you'd ever imagine.
Our friend Katie posits that Milo is an alien, exhibiting other-worldly knowledge, and communicating fiercely and specifically and constantly, in a language we aren't wise enough to understand. The more time we spend with him, the more we might agree...

Happy 5 months, Milo-moose-muffin. Keep swinging!

I'm trying desperately to catch up but mom says I should let you blaze the trail of solid foods and playground swings. Come play with me soon and I'll show you how I can suck my thumb and sit up, almost. Love: E-town.
