On such a winter's night.
Well, not exactly. But Milo's half-birthday was blessed with cool weather and all-afternoon drizzle instead of the normal heat and humidity. Which gave him the energy to practice his inch-worm crawling inside, and then inspired Mama & Papa to take him outside on an urban hike, trading the backpack carrier.
Mama and Papa have to work hard to keep Milo from missing his west coast family. Aided mostly by Gran'mama Paoletti with support from a few friendly passers-by, we can usually keep his inquisitive self happy and distracted. But leave Mr. Blue alone too long, and his giggles subside... and we just know he wants to be back in some Richardson family arms.
And why not, when he can get maximum cuddling from Auntie Ali...

Share a moment of understanding with Paw-Paw...

And spend hours in Grandma's lap, especially with the story about the carrot seed - it came up, just like he knew it would.

Happy half Birthday to YOU...happy half birthday dear MILO BLUE...happy half birrrrrrrrthDAY to the BLUEEEE! I miss your smile and your laugh so so much- thank goodness for your mommy posting these pictures to make my days brighter.

auntie ali
I can't believe I forgot to acknowledge my most talented brother- for whom without all of these fabulous pictures I would have no Milo Blue smiles to make my day...forgive me
