Labor Day weekend seems an appropriate time to capture the last rays of summer and all that came with it - the sand castles, the lobsters, the swimming, the rides in a Big Airplane, the people and faces and family that made up so many gorgeous Not At Work hours for Mama and Papa. Suddenly words became phrases, and demands come with Please and Thank You. The crib is a bed, certain t-shirts can be worn on certain days, and "Milo do it" [with no meddling from any Adult] is a constant refrain.
The trips of summer, the trains and airplanes, the backyard bbq's and sand box, have given Milo plenty of people to call - from the swing, from the couch, from his bed. Big Papapa and Gran'ma. Aunt Ali. Aunt Sarah. Gran'mama and Gran'papa. Aunt Sheila. Auntie Kimmie. Baby Mikayla. And many people whose pictures he points to and wants to visit...
Who says summer has to end?
